How long have you been coming to Lift?

About a year ago when my friend suggested I come.

What do you do?

I work out in the gym, go to Creative Cooking, play table tennis, go to the youth sessions

How has Lift helped you?

I have learnt to just be myself. I have been taught how to cook different meals I wouldn't get at home. A also have also learnt the importance of having good posture, especially when you are exercising.

What is the most fun you have ever had?

Playing games especially black jack – it’s very competitive.

What would you say to a young person that has never been here before?

Anything you want to do Lift has. And if they don’t have it just ask and they will try and sort it out.

Is there anything you wish you had known before you started coming here?

The food is really good with lots of opportunities to both cook and eat.

What do you hope to be doing in three years’ time?

I hope to be at university or have a degree or apprenticeship in computer science. My ideal job would be in games design, cyber security and data analyisis being a software developer or engineer.

How is Lift helping you meet your goals?

Every time an opportunity come up I will be told. For example they referred me to Soapbox for a course on making computer games. Youth workers are really encouraging.
