Family Support Drop In

The aim of these sessions is to support students and families as soon as any concerns or difficulties arise with school and to help resolve things as soon as possible. No issue is too big or two small.

The sessions are run by Bright Futures, the Islington Early Help Service.

Example of the kind of things people can get support for include

  • Attendance issues
  • Emotionally based school avoidance
  • Mediation around school conflict regarding pupils, teachers and parents
  • Transition support for school years 6/7 and year 11
  • Advice/support on family matters and parenting
  • Advocating for children and young people
  • Special educational needs support including advice on EHCPs
  • Benefits

Ages: 10-19 years and/or their parents
