Emotional Wellbeing Worker
Contract: one year contract
Salary: £34-36k dependent on experience.
Please note this role will require an enhanced DBS check to be taken after the appointment.
We are recruiting an experienced youth worker to specialise in supporting young people aged 18-25 with social and emotional needs.
You will work alongside Islington’s Progression to Adulthood pilot project, which assists young people with an Education Health and Care Plan who require additional support. You will create a personal plan with the young person working towards a wellbeing goal and deliver the community and social prescribing aspects of the project. This involves supporting young people to access universal and targeted services within the borough, from arts and cultural opportunities to statutory services.
This new role is part of an exciting programme we are running in partnership with Islington CCG.
We would ideally like to hear from people with a one month notice period or ability to start immediately. We particularly welcome applicants with good knowledge of Islington and its services.
