Spend your summer holidays creating dances and/or costumes and then take part in the world famous Notting Hill Carnival procession. You will be part of an amazing spectacle, showcasing a mixture of wonderful art forms: dance, body art, costume design, prop making and carnival cooking. Everything will be created by young people working alongside professionals. This year the theme is The elements - earth, wind, rain and fire.

You can sign up for all strands of the project or a few.

This is a five week free project from Monday 23 July - Sunday 26 August. You can sign up for one or more of the project stands.

We are also having a launch party on Saturday 21 August and giving a performance in the final week of the summer holidays - details to be confirmed.

Please note that all performers in Notting Hill carnival procession will need to be 16+ on the day of the event. Anyone under 16 can take part in everything else.

To sign up visit Lift and speak to a youth worker or email iindigoart@hotmail.com or call 07506 137467

If there is still space we will accept drop-ins during the first week of the project. But there will be no new admissions to the project from Monday 30 July.
