Lift youth hub

Parents are welcome to come and look around and talk to youth workers.

Lift youth hub is open access. We do NOT act in loco parentis (in place of a parent) in the way that a school does. Young people can come and go as they please. There is a 50p entrance fee and and addtional charges for gym and cookery classes.

We ask that all children and young people using Lift fill in a registration form that can be downloaded here. All information is collected and stored in line with General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

In the case of a personal emergency we will endeavour to make contact with the nominated emergency contact.

If the building has to close for any reason, young people will be expected to make their own arrangements to get home. Use of a mobile phone will be provided on request.

All our duty managers are qualified first aiders.

All our staff are DBS checked on a regular basis. Youth workers also attend training provided by the Islington Safeguarding Children Board.

Our Designated Safeguarding Person is Judith Samuel who can be contacted on 07825 098689 or
